Kitchener man dies after car hits tree near St. Agatha

A 35-year-old Kitchener man has died after his car hit a tree Monday morning.

Waterloo Regional Police say the crash happened around 4:15 a.m. on Erb’s Road, just west of St. Agatha.

According to police, a Chevrolet Cavalier was travelling westbound when if left the road and hit a tree.

The only person in the vehicle, 35-year-old Kitchener resident Arthur Campbell, was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and then pronounced dead at the scene.
