Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Kitchener man following a physical altercation involving a knife. Police said they responded early Thursday morning to reports of a man with a knife near Monte Carlo Street. Investigators determined the man was involved in a physical altercation with another person in the area. The victim’s injuries were described as minor. The 24-year-old from Kitchener was arrested and charged with three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief under $5,000, assaulting a peace officer, and breach of a release order.
