A yellow frost advisory has been issued for southern Ontario as temperatures are expected to fall to near or below the freezing mark Monday night into early Tuesday morning. Damage to crops, plants and trees is possible, Environment Canada warned. Residents are being advised to take preventative measures to protect cold-sensitive plants, particularly those in frost-prone areas.
