Extra GO trains added for Blue Jays fans returning home after Game 1 in Toronto

Metrolinx has added extra GO trains tips to Friday night’s schedule for fans cheering on the Blue Jays in Toronto.

The transportation agency said they will run after Game 1 of the World Series on Friday and Game 2 on Saturday.

For anyone heading home on the Kitchener Line, the train leaves at 12:35 a.m. It will stop at all stations along the way before arriving at Kitchener GO at 2:27 a.m.

Trips have also been added on the Barrie Line, Stouffville Line and Milton Line.

A train leaves Union Station at 12:30 a.m. on the Barrie Line and is expected to arrive at Allandale Waterfront GO at 2:13 a.m.

On the Stouffville Line, the train leaves Union Station at 12:30 a.m. and arrives at Old Elm GO at 1:42 a.m.

For the Milton Line, a late-night train will only run on Friday, Oct. 24. The departure time is 12:30 a.m. and arrival time, at Milton GO, is 1:30 a.m. While no extra trips are scheduled after Saturday’s game, a train has been added to help fans get to the game. It leaves Milton GO at 5:44 p.m. and arrives at Union Station at 6:47 p.m.

Metrolinx said service on the Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East lines will be operating as usual.
