People living in a Waterloo neighbourhood are being asked to check their security cameras after a break-in. The Waterloo Regional Police Service believes suspects broke into a home in the Alexmuir Place and Clair Creek Boulevard area through a backyard near a trail system. The break-in happened sometime between July 20 at 8 p.m. and July 27 at 8:30 p.m. Investigators said an upper-level window at the home was damaged, several rooms were rummaged through and electronics and jewelry were taken. Anyone with footage of the incident, or anything else suspicious in the area, is asked to reach out to police.
