Driver remains in critical condition following Highway 6 crash

Ontario Provincial Police say the driver of a pickup truck, involved in Wednesday’s crash near Mount Forest, remains in hospital.

The driver was transported to the trauma centre with life-threatening injuries after their pickup collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 around 4 p.m.

As of Thursday, the driver’s condition was listed as critical but non-life-threatening.

Highway 6 was closed for several hours after the crash but it has since reopened.

OPP are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam video to reach out to investigators.
