Waterloo Regional Police say charges are anticipated following a collision that seriously injured a cyclist in Woolwich Township. Emergency crews responded to reports of a collision involving a cyclist on Katherine Street North near Letson Drive at about 4:10 p.m. on Saturday. Police said the cyclist, a 44-year-old Toronto man, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Katherine Street North was closed for several hours while members of the Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Services Unit investigated. Police said the investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police.
