Police are looking for a male who assaulted a construction worker in the middle of the afternoon and took off in a stolen truck. The incident was reported to the Waterloo Regional Police Service around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. They were told the worker had been at a construction site in the Fischer-Hallman Road area when an unknown male approached him, assaulted him with a weapon, damaged a vehicle and then drove off in a stolen pickup truck. The worker had only minor injuries. The stolen vehicle was described as a white 2021 Ram TRX.
