A bicycle patrol that turned up suspected drugs, brass knuckles, and cash in downtown Kitchener has led to the arrest of a man. Waterloo Regional Police said officers were near Weber Street West and Water Street North around 9:50 a.m. Tuesday when they saw a man in possession of suspected fentanyl, arresting him for possessing a controlled substance. A search ensued, where investigators found and seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, multiple pills, brass knuckles, and approximately $2000 cash. A 38-year-old Kitchener man was charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon and two counts of disobeying a court order.
