Brantford man facing child pornography charges may have contacted kids on social media platforms

The Brantford Police Service says a man facing a child pornography charges travelled extensively and may have reached out to children on several social media platforms.

Officers searched a Brantford home on Aug. 19 after they were told a man had child pornography. Multiple computers, cellphones and other electronic devices were seized during the search and evidence of child pornography was found.

The 32-year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with accessing child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.

The Brantford Police Service said the man was known to have travelled extensively and may have used several different social media platforms to talk to children.

He used the online aliases Deodee9, Deodee49, Daledeo, Karl, Karl and Alexis, Karl antigula and Karl shy.
