Brantford Fire warns of possible door-to-door scam

The Brantford Fire Department is warning residents about a possible scam.

Brantford Fire said individuals are going door-to-door claiming to represent the fire department.

“While the Brantford Fire Department does conduct door-to-door smoke alarm checks as part of the Smoke Alarms Save Lives program, firefighters will always be in uniform and arrive in marked fire department vehicles,” they said a social media post on Friday afternoon.
