A Rockwood man is facing several charges after officers were called to a disturbance in rural North Dumfries Township. Waterloo Regional Police Service officers went to the property in the East River Road area on Sunday around 8:55 p.m. They were told an unwanted man was driving a vehicle on private land. Police said they learned the man drove dangerously, damaged property and assaulted a resident. A 34-year-old man was arrested on site and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, impaired operation of a vehicle, operation while impaired, assault, assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.
