Actress Elisha Cuthbert engaged to NHLer Dion Phaneuf

Elisha Cuthbert is engaged.
The ‘Happy Endings’ actress has announced she is to wed ice hockey player partner Dion Phaneuf, 27, who she has been dating since 2008.
She tweeted: “Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged! This has been the most amazing weekend ever."
The couple celebrated their happy news with a seafood feast at New Glasgow Lobster restaurant on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
The restaurant tweeted this morning: “Last night we had the privilege of hosting a surprise engagement party for Dion Phaneuf and Elisha Cuthbert. Congrats to them both."
Their Facebook page added: “A nice surprise for all their guests.
Congrats to them both and LOVE the ring (sic)!"
The party featured around 40 friends and family and Elisha, 29, was happy to show all those assembled her new ring.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Elisha looked very happy and pleased. She was showing off her ring to her family and the wait staff.
"The female wait staff were gushing about the ring saying it was 'quite impressive' and 'huge.'
“At one point, Dion and Elisha both got up an gave a speech and thanked everyone for being there and celebrating this exciting time with them."
