Valley Line West LRT construction to impact traffic at Meadowlark Road and 89 Avenue

A portion of Meadowlark Road will be impacted due to construction on the Valley Line West LRT starting March 17.

Access across Meadowlark Road at 89 Avenue will be closed while vehicle access will be maintained at 156 Street and 88A Avenue.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, but detours may be in place with according wayfinding signage.

Work on the ductbank and rail construction will occur between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

Marigold Infrastructure Partners, the company constructing the Valley Line West, said crews are expected to complete the work within 10 weeks.
