A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection to an imitation firearm investigation in Fort Saskatchewan. Mounties responded to six calls for service about teens with airsoft guns in recent days. The boy was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, using an imitation firearm and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. The RCMP said these shootings are linked to an ongoing social media challenge. Airsoft guns are illegal and can cause significant harm, police said.
