Arson considered cause of fire at southwest home under construction

Edmonton fire crews were called to a house fire at 190 Street and 20 Avenue just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Edmonton firefighters were called to a home believed under construction early Thursday morning.

The blaze at 190 Street and 20 Avenue was reported around 6:35 a.m.

Crews say they arrived to find a “fully involved” fire.

It was still burning out of control at 7:15 a.m.

The Edmonton Police Service told CTV News Edmonton Thursday afternoon while they’re still investigating the fire, arson is being considered as a cause of it.

Police said no injuries from the fire have been reported to them.
