RCMP seeking Calgary woman in connection to fatal crash north of St. Paul

Police said Wednesday that an arrest warrant had been issued for a Calgary woman, in connection to a fatal collision that took place near a northern Alberta community in late June.

RCMP said Fallon Jessica Ouellette, 27, is facing a total of nine charges in connection to a fatal crash on June 30, east of the Mallaig, Alberta turnoff on Highway 28 – charges include two counts each of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death, impaired operation of a motor vehicle over .80 causing death, and dangerous driving causing death.

The warrant was issued after the collision left a minivan fully engulfed in flames, a 49-year-old man, and his 52-year-old common-law wife dead. The man’s 12-year-old daughter was rescued from the minivan by bystanders.
