Motorcyclist involved in central Edmonton collision with Jeep dies

Police say a 35-year-old man died from injuries on Friday after his Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a Jeep at 102 Street and 106 Avenue last Monday.

An investigation is underway into a fatal motorcycle collision that took place earlier this week in central Edmonton.

On Aug. 18 at about 6:15 p.m., Edmonton police responded to reports of a collision around 102 Street and 106 Avenue.

Police say a 35-year-old man driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading west on 106 Avenue when he struck a Jeep heading south on 102 Street.

EMS transported the motorcyclist to hospital with serious injuries. He died Friday.

Police say speed is considered a factor in the collision.
