A 26-year-old man is in stable condition after slipping underneath the wheels of a moving train in northwest Edmonton. Edmonton police were called to a railyard in the area of 121 Street and 127 Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Railyard staff had tried to escort a trespasser out of the yard when he ran away. He tried to climb between two rail cars on a moving train and fell under the wheels, police said. EMS took him to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, but he’s now in stable condition. The major collisions unit is now investigating.
