Man arrested in B.C., charged with Vermillion killing

Mounties have arrested a man in Sooke, B.C. in connection with a homicide that occurred earlier this year in Vermillion.

A news release said officers obtained a warrant for Cole Elrich Hill on April 22 for the killing of 30-year-old Brady Greg Snelgrove.

Snelgrove was killed on Jan. 21 in Vermillion.

Investigators determined that Hill had fled Alberta following Snelgrove’s death.

Police located Hill, 28, in Sooke on Saturday and have charged him with second-degree murder. He has been remanded into custody and is being transported back to Alberta.

Vermillion is about 175 kilometres east of Edmonton.
