The city’s annual performing arts free-for-all in Old Strathcona is hanging on for another week with a selection of this year’s most popular shows. Eleven productions from this year’s Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival are being held over on select days next week. The 45th annual edition of the festival included 209 indoor theatre productions this year, along with 35 street performers and a free concert series. In all, this year’s Fringe included more than 1,600 artists. This year’s held-over shows will be staged at the Westbury Theatre and the Varscona Theatre. Tickets are on sale.
