Police have been called about a fire at an abandoned house in northeast Edmonton. Firefighters were called to the house near 116 Avenue and 69 Street at 10:21 a.m. on Thursday. They arrived to find thick black smoke coming from the building. The fire was declared under control at 10:47 a.m. No injuries have been reported. A spokesperson for Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says firefighters contacted police.
