A 45-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Innisfil on Monday night, police say. It happened around 10 p.m. in the area of 6th Line and Sideroad 10. South Simcoe Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian who had been struck. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers say the driver involved has been cooperative with police. The Office of the Chief Coroner is now assisting with the investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has video footage or details, to contact them. The investigation remains ongoing.
