Edmonton will see highs near 20 C through the weekend

Warm and dry weather for Saturday/Sunday in the Edmonton area.

But, we may start the weekend with some scattered showers late this afternoon or early this evening.

A cold front swill press south across the province through the day today.

We’ll get some increasing cloudcover for this afternoon and gusts in the 30-40 km/h range.

Temperatures should be slightly cooler than Thursday. Edmonton hit 23.4 C Thursday afternoon, the hottest day so far this year.

We’ll get to about 19 C this afternoon.

Sunshine returns for Saturday... then partly cloudy and gusty Sunday.

There IS a slight cool down coming for Monday/Tuesday, but that should only drop us into the 13 to 17 C range.

Beyond that...20-something highs return for Wednesday/Thursday.
