An Edmonton sonographer has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient at his clinic. Aasim Syed Ahmed, 53, was charged on Aug. 12 after a female patient reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted during a medical imaging appointment at an ultrasound clinic in southeast Edmonton. Investigators believe Ahmed is still working as a sonographer and are searching for anyone else who may have been sexually assaulted.
