Early morning fire scorches home in Mill Woods

A home in Mill Woods was ablaze in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) received a call for a fire on 14 Avenue and 65 Street at 5:12 a.m. and arrived on scene five minutes later.

A statement from EFRS said the fire was under control at 6:18 a.m. but was not deemed out.

No injuries have been reported.

Police say the fire has been deemed as suspicious and that they are investigating.
