Devon White to make appearance in Edmonton this weekend

The Riverhawks Community Foundation’s Field of Dreams Festival is happening this Saturday.

The festival will consist of food trucks, baseball skill stations, a park tour, live music, and fireworks.

Additionally, former Toronto Blue Jay and Edmonton Trapper Devon White will share stories from his career. Born in Jamaica, the centre fielder won two World Series while playing with Toronto in 1992 and 1993.

General admission is $100. Those with VIP tickets, which cost $250, will get to meet White.

Funds raised at the festival support youth sports.
