Police are asking the public to help them figure out who set fires at four infill houses under construction in the Belgravia and King Edward Park neighbourhoods. The dates and locations of the fires are: No injuries were reported as a result of any of the fires. Investigators are asking anyone who has video from the area of the fires between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. to check their footage for any suspicious activity. People are also asked to report any suspicious activity, especially around construction and infill sites, to police. “We recognize the community is concerned about these fires in their neighbourhood, and we want to assure them that this investigation is a top priority for our team,” Acting Staff Sgt. Heather Morrison said in a Friday news release. “We have increased proactive patrols in the affected communities and are working closely with community partners to help prevent further occurrences.” Anyone with information is asked to call EPS at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
