PEGGY'S COVE, N.S. -- Police in Nova Scotia say an Ontario man has been rescued from the ocean after falling from the rocks at Peggy's Cove.
RCMP say the 26-year-old man went into the water near the popular tourist destination around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Mounties say he was in the ocean for 10 minutes before he was pulled from the water by the crew of a nearby tour boat.
RCMP Cpl. D.L. Allen says the man was conscious and breathing when he was rescued and is expected to survive.
Earlier this year a 25-year-old man from Ontario was swept off the rocks and into the ocean at Peggy's Cove.
Police called off their search for the man after dive teams scoured the waters but could not find him.
