There’s officially seven more days of summer, and it will actually feel like summer in Calgary. Wednesday is when the sun comes back and the temperatures start to rise. Expect a daytime high of 16 C, which is around normal for this time of year. The fog patches and clouds will clear out in the early morning hours. After 11 a.m. it’s all sunshine for the rest of the day. For Thursday and Friday the city will be around the 20-degree mark, and by Sunday, the mid-20s. It’s a beautiful, bright weekend ahead of us — not bad for the last weekend of summer. But Mother Nature is reminding us that fall is just around the corner. This photo of the leaves changing colour was taken just southwest of Calgary on Monday by Roy Millar.
