The Taber Police Service and Alberta Sheriffs issued 39 tickets within a few hours during their latest crackdown on traffic violations and vehicle equipment. Police say 29 of the tickets were issued for illegal window tinting. Additional tickets were handed out for seatbelt violations, inadequate mudguards and obstructed windshields. Police say the joint initiative is focused on improving road safety and ensuring vehicles meet provincial standards. Officers say more enforcement operations are planned throughout the summer.
