Calgary police are working to identify a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman in the Beltline earlier this month. Police say the victim was sitting in her vehicle in the 1100 block of 13 Avenue S.W. at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, when a stranger opened her front passenger door. “The man then exposed himself to her and committed an indecent act while making lewd comments,” police said in a Friday news release. The woman drove away and reported the incident to police the following day. Investigators haven’t yet been able to identify the man. He’s described as between 5’8” (173 cm) and 5’10” (178 cm) tall with a slim build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a felt coat, black joggers, a red-and-grey scarf and a toque. Anyone with information on the incident or who may know the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
