Calgary police have rescinded a shelter in place request in the city’s southeast in response to a potential domestic situation Sunday. Police issued a report that said that at around 9:45 a.m., they responded to a call about a possible domestic situation involving a firearm in the 200 block of Cranston Drive S.E. In an update issued just before noon Sunday, police said the incident has been successfully resolved. Traffic restrictions in the area have been lifted and no arrests resulted. “The request for local residents to shelter in place has been rescinded,” they said. The incident remains under investigation.
