The Calgary Police Service, Lethbridge Police, Olds RCMP and Circle K have launched a co-ordinated campaign in southern Alberta to recognize youth who make positive contributions to their communities. The initiative, known as Operation Freeze, aims to strengthen relationships between youth and law enforcement by rewarding good deeds and responsible behaviour with Froster coupons provided by Circle K. Police say the coupons give officers an opportunity to engage with youth in a positive, non-confrontational way, helping build trust and meaningful connections in the community. “By recognizing positive choices, we can encourage youth to continue making a difference in their communities while building positive relationships with law enforcement,” said Sgt. Chad Titsing of the Calgary Police Service. Circle K is providing officers with coupons to distribute throughout participating communities. The organizations say the initiative is meant to celebrate positive youth contributions and strengthen relationships that help communities thrive.
