Calgary police say a suspect arrested in an auto-theft probe is facing 16 new charges in addition to the 21 he was already wanted on warrants for. According to police, officers identified a stolen vehicle in the northwest community of Capitol Hill on June 17. They arrested a man the next day at a home in the northwest community of Hawkwood. They also searched the home. Dustin Andrew Sklerek has been charged with: In a release issued Monday, police said one of Sklerek’s outstanding warrants was for allegedly removing an electronic monitoring bracelet. Police also said they recovered the vehicle, its keys and its original licence plate when they searched the home. Sklerek was scheduled to make an appearance in court on these charges on Monday.
