Lethbridge police are asking for the public’s help to identify the driver of a vehicle involved in a suspicious interaction with an 11-year-old girl. Police say the incident occurred when the girl was playing outside her northside home. A driver allegedly approached her and said she was giving away a dog, asking if the child wanted it. Police say there was no attempt to physically force the girl into the vehicle, and she immediately returned home. The driver is described as an older woman with short, curly grey hair. Police say she was accompanied by a young boy and a black, short-haired dog. The vehicle is described as a beige, older-model minivan, similar to a 2007 Honda Odyssey.
