An investigation is underway into a shooting early Sunday morning in northeast Calgary. Police said in a release that they responded at around 2:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting in a parking lot at ACE Casino at 40 Aero Crescent N.E. They say the suspects fled the area prior to their arrival. One victim was driven to the Peter Lougheed Hospital by an unknown person in stable condition. No one is in custody at this time but investigators believe the shooting was targeted and that there is no risk to the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.
