A southern Alberta man says he plans to take a family vacation after winning $260,295 on a scratch-and-win ticket. Larry Berreth purchased the Lightning Lotto ticket at the Strathmore Convenience Store on Aug. 15. “I heard the clerk say, ‘You won,’ and I thought he said $260,” he said in a Wednesday news release. “I saw [the actual amount] and was in awe!” “Hawaii has been on my bucket list for a long time,” he added. “We’ll probably do a family holiday there.” “We’re also looking at getting a new car!”
