A 40-year-old man from Regina has been charged with possessing and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE). In July, the Regina Police Service (RPS) received a complaint about online child exploitation, leading to an investigation by the ICE Unit. On Sept. 16, Michael Zatylny was charged with possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material. He made his first court appearance that day and was released on court-imposed conditions. His next court date is set for Oct. 13 in Regina Provincial Court. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service.
