End of an era as Eisenbergs' Fine Furniture set to close

Eisenbergs' Fine Furniture in Bridgeland will close for good in 2017

Eisenbergs' Fine Furniture, which carried on the tradition of the Alberta Furniture Company, has announced it will cease operations in the spring of 2017.

The family-run business opened in 1920 and has been a cornerstone of the business community in Bridgeland along the road that is now known as Edmonton Trail.

According to ownership, the economic downturn prompted the closure. The store will remain open for several months to ensure the needs pf staff, customers and suppliers are met.
