Most of southern Alberta — Calgary included — is under a heat warning. The next two weeks will be hot across the region, but some of the hottest weather will be over these next three days in Calgary. Thursday will be mainly sunny. A few weak thunderstorms are projected to pop up in southern Alberta near the supper hours, but there is only a 30 per cent chance we will get any of that activity in Calgary. The temperature will climb even higher as we get to 31 C in the afternoon. The air quality will once again range from low to moderate on the Air Quality Health Index. Friday and Saturday will see highs of 32 C. Wildfire smoke is expected to be at a moderate level at times throughout the rest of the week. How is this for picture perfect?
