Some families may be pleased to hear that a popular children’s store will soon be returning to the Calgary area. This fall, a new Build-A-Bear Workshop will open at CrossIron Mills. Officials are excited about the new location at the shopping centre, located just off the QE2 Highway in Balzac, Alta. “This addition enhances our family-friendly tenant mix, reinforcing our position as a premier destination for shopping, dining, and experiences. We look forward to welcoming this beloved brand and celebrating with Alberta families,” a mall spokesperson said in an email to CTV News Friday. The new store marks the return of the brand to the Calgary area after the company closed its other store at Chinook Centre in 2024.
