A southern Alberta man took home $250,000 after hitting the jackpot on a scratch-and-win ticket. Joseph Laliberte, of Raymond, Alta., won the prize on the golden egg ticket in a scratch-off pack. He said he was shocked when he discovered his big win. “I started shaking,” he said. “It’s a good feeling.” Laliberte said he does not have plans for his winnings yet. He bought his scratch-and-win pack at the Town Pump located at 37 West 200 N, in Raymond. The Western Canada Lottery Corporation notes that scratch-and-win tickets have an expiry date printed on the back.
