Police are asking for help from the public to identify suspects who stole from several vehicles in Airdrie and fled from officers earlier this week. Airdrie RCMP said beginning at 2:30 a.m. on May 20, thieves stole from multiple vehicles parked in Reunion Court, Woodside Drive and Bayside. Surveillance video from one of the incidents shows the suspects pull up to a home in a white Hyundai Accent before entering a parked truck and stealing multiple items. RCMP tried to stop the vehicle in the 800 block of Yankee Valley Boulevard around 4:12 a.m., but the suspects fled. Police checked the Ontario licence plate and learned the vehicle was stolen. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7267.
