Investigation is underway into a structure fire that took place Sunday afternoon in south Calgary, injuring six people. Fire crews and police responded at 12:25 p.m. to the 400 block of MacLeod Trail S.E. for reports of a structure fire at an apartment building. There were a number of blackened windows on the second-floor at the back of the building, which is next door to a Delta Hotel. An EMS spokesperson said paramedics transported a total of six people to hospital: one in critical condition, two others in serious condition and three in stable condition. Police advise motorists to expect temporary road closures and delays in the area.
