TORONTO - Google and one of Canada's largest real estate marketing firms have teamed up to provide buyers with more information about property listings.

The initiative was announced Tuesday by Royal LePage Real Estate Services, which has been working with the industry's national association and Google.

Royal LePage says the new website will integrate data shared through the Canadian Real Estate Association with web and mobile technology.

In addition to Google's well-known Maps and Streetview features, the website can search for local landmarks and display neighbourhood information.

Royal LePage provides services to about 14,000 real estate professionals in 600 locations across Canada.
