Toy Mountain launches for another year to help hundreds of families

CTV Barrie’s Toy Mountain officially launches Mon., Nov. 17, in partnership with Access Storage, to help hundreds of children build a mountain of memories this holiday season.

A new unwrapped toy, gift card or cash donation will make Christmas brighter for families who use the services of Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions.

The Toy Mountain drive has brought in more than $2 million worth of toys and gift cards since it began, and now the need is now greater than ever.

To ensure that as many families benefit as possible, CTV Barrie, Pure Country 106, BOUNCE 104.1 and Simcoe Family Connexions have once again teamed up to help make the holidays a little brighter for more than 3,000 local children, teens and their families.

“Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every family experiences the joy of the season. Thank you for your support,” said CTV Barrie News Director Justin Rydell.

“This campaign is an opportunity to support those facing financial hardships in our community and ensure everyone feels the joy of the holidays,” added Jerome Ben Tolila with Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions.
