Tim Hortons Camp Day returns, turning coffee and donuts into something extraordinary

Camp Day in Canada is an annual fundraising event held by Tim Hortons, where all proceeds from hot and iced coffee sales are donated to the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. (CTV NEWS BARRIE)

It’s Camp Day at Tim Hortons, which means your coffee is doing more than just waking you up. It’s turning your purchase into something extraordinary.

Across the country, every cup of coffee or Camp Day donut sold helps send kids from underserved communities to Tim’s Camps.

Brandon Newlove with the Tim Hortons on Essa Road in Barrie says, “It’s our way of giving back to the community and allowing the community to help support us in doing so.”

Last year Newlove had the privilege of attending one of the camps as they were in session. “Seeing it in action really, really, really shows you what we’re doing and how we are able to help the youth that are struggling with some of these things,” he said.

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps provides programs that help fuel growth in social-emotional skills and boost overall well-being.

“Together, we can open doors, build brighter futures, and help the next generation reach new heights,” shared Tim Hortons in their campaign.

Since 1991, more than $262 million has been raised through the annual Camp Day.
