Temporary road closure scheduled Thursday in Springwater

If you’re traveling through Springwater Township Thursday, you may experience a slight hiccup in your ride.

A temporary road closure is scheduled on Vespra Valley Road from Highway 26 to Snow Valley Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Pro Tree Services will be removing bush in the area, blocking off the road to ensure the safety of both workers and the surrounding community.

“Local traffic will be permitted; however, through traffic will not be able to pass during this time,” state township officials.

If you live within the closure, you can access Vespra Valley Road from the south side of Highway 26 to George Johnston Road, or the township says you can travel along Snow Valley Road to George Johnston Road to Highway 26.
