It has been over two years since 35-year-old Chance Kay vanished near the Skyways Motel in Gravenhurst, and police are still asking for help in the ongoing search. The Port Carling man was last seen around 11 p.m. on March 29, 2024. According to police reports, Kay left the area without a vehicle or his cell phone. It’s thought that he may have entered the bushes near the motel located at 3566 Highway 11 South. Officers say he went to meet an acquaintance that night but was never seen again. Police searched on the ground and from the sky, hoping to find answers. Kay is described as five feet six inches tall with a slim build, long dark hair, brown eyes and several face tattoos. He was last seen wearing ripped blue jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt with a white logo and a True Religion baseball cap. Despite multiple extensive ground and aerial searches and social media appeals, Kay’s whereabouts still remain unknown at this time. The Muskoka Crime Unit is continuing the ongoing investigation; anyone who may have information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
